This was a cute quick story, I get the whole going on a honeymoon alone and I get being young and inexperienced, but some of the stuff this Heroine gets up to is just plain reckless. Remy is a strong fun Alpha male and find myself wanting more. This is a cute read and worth a look.

Her French Connection is the tenth book in the Protecting Her Heart series and is the story of Roxanne "Roxie" and Remy Martineau.
Roxie is on her honeymoon in Paris, France, as a single lady. He now ex left her at the aisle after he and her best friend ran away together, as they had apparently been at it behind her back. She is determined to have a wonderful time and has found the people to be warm and helpful and the sights delightful. One of the things she has liked to do is wander the streets and experience the true Paris. But one afternoon she starts to wander and is not paying attention to her surroundings. She ends up getting lost in her head and finds herself lost, out of cell range and in a dangerous situation after seeing something, or really someone, in a van in an alley.
Remy is the Direction generale de la securite exterieure in Paris, France. If you read Her Italian Hitman then you will remember Remy and Enzo took down the notorious Gio Bianchi in Las Vegas. With members of the Bianchi family and associates scattered he is still one the hunt for them to finish the job of stopping a sex slave operation. He has just been in meetings all day discussing several young female tourists having gone missing and is driving home when he spots a decal in a car window that he recognizes as belonging to the Bianchi family. He follows the car determined to stop whoever it is before more young women can go missing from Paris.
Remy pulls up just in time to save Roxie from being thrown into the van by two men, both Bianchi's. He has taken down two more of the family and in the process also saved other young women besides the beautiful and feisty Roxanne. He has a pull towards her from the first time he saw her. He wants to protect her and is determined to keep her safe. So he knows that he will have to take her with him for at least the night or longer. He ends up driving to the family home that he grew up in a few hours away in the country. There Roxie and Remy get to know each other and lot more intimately and thus begins their relationship. It seems that Roxie is starting her life over and it will be in the city of love with the man she loves.

This is an entertaining story with some drama, action, emotion, humor and OTT sexy chemistry. The story-line was fast-paced and the characters were wonderfully written. I loved Roxie as she really is like a misbehaving toddler but with a wide-eyed innocence.

Short and quirky, just as it purports to be

This is a short, quirky, Insta-love story with a medium heat level. The book is good to spend an hour or two escaping the daily grind. Remy and Roxie meet when she sees something she should not...he whisks her away from danger. And the rest is history.

Roxie goes on her honeymoon after her ex-fiancé ends things right before they are to be married. She is enjoying her trip until she is grabbed off the street and thrown in a van. Remy sees it happen and rushes to help her. Once he rescues her Remy knows that she's still in danger because others are still loose so he takes her home with him. Things heat up between them and soon Roxie doesn't want it to end. Will her honeymoon turn into something more with Remy?

This is a great story that will captivate you from beginning to end. The chemistry between them is off the charts hot. This is a well written and very entertaining story. I would recommend this book to any book lover.

I received this book with the understanding that I could leave a voluntary and honest review.

In this book we meet Roxie and Remy . Roxie is sure she is curse there is just no other way to explain her life to her. So when she finds out that not only is he leaving her on their wedding day but he is leaving her for her best friend. Things go from bad to worse when she runs late while on the streets of Paris and has to cut through an alley. What she sees when she comes to the end starts a whole lot more trouble then she had planned on for her almost honeymoon. Remy never planned on his new assignment leading him to a woman that can stop his world. This is not the best timing for them to find one another since what Roxie stumbled upon was mobsters taking women in carpets. He knows they have to do something to finally take down this family of mobsters. Suddenly however his priorities have changed. All he can think of is keeping this woman safe. Will they find a HEA or will the mob catch up with them both and make sure that never happens?

This is another amazing story by this author. It does have its ups and downs I really want to tell you about. However I don't want to ruin the story for any other readers. I will say though however this is a roller-coaster of a story you won't want to get off of. I would highly recommend it to anyone and everyone.

Her French Connection by Regina Wade is a short,sweet,sexy,witty and steamy instalove romance story of Remy and Roxie..Remy is Fed Agent in frances,hot and sexy..Roxie is sweet,sassy,curvy and gorgeous.Roxie went to France for her so called honeymoon but before she walked down the aisle her runaway groom run with her best friend/maid of honor,so just to go away to it all shen went to france alone,while walking back to her hotel some mob syndicate wanted to kidnapp her but thankfully her knight and shining armour is there to save the day,the first time they look each other they know that they belong together and have their HEA..lovely!!

I like authors who, when they write their stories, manage to do so in such a detailed way that it makes it easy for me to mentally picture what I read. In this novel, from the first pages I saw myself catapulted into a film, one of those that have always kept me glued to the screen without ever diverting my attention. It's the same effect this story had on me. Lots of action, many well-described characters, adrenaline-filled situations, a dose of mystery with very interesting historical references. Accurate and fluid writing.
